If you’ve got school or college-age students in your home, most likely, summertime is the time of year your whole family looks forward to all year long. For nearly three months, you get to set aside the homework, books, and PTA meetings to hang out at the pool and enjoy backyard cookouts and fun in the sun. But all good things must come to an end, and this is certainly true with summer fun. It’s been a long and difficult winter in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. We’ve experienced icy roads better suited for skating than driving, there’s been little or no sunlight except when we are stuck in work, thirty-below temperatures with -60 degree wind chills, and regular intervals of snow. All of this is enough to question our sanity about living here in Minnesota! Come this time of year most people are feeling stir crazy and have the fever for spring to arrive.
