There seems to be a universal distortion of time that everyone experiences all around the world. For children time crawls along at a snail’s pace. Asking a kid to wait even five minutes until we get off the phone earns us looks of exasperation as if to say, “What are doing to me; why do you hate me?” You would think they are trying to escape the worst torture known to man. Teens will tell you they are puzzled by how time flies with their friends, but drags on at school and family functions. By early adulthood, time seems to flow at a “normal pace” short of trying to breakout of work at the end of the day. By our 40-50’s every month starts to feel like only a week has gone by and despite the time on our hands in retirement, most seniors tell you the years just clip by. The long and short of it is that time is slipping away and as we chase after it, we seem trapped in one of those slow motion nightmares as time escapes us.

Our job in life should be to use our time wisely and don’t squander it in front of the TV. Enjoy life before it gets away from you. Spend time with your friends, family, and loved ones. We hear over and over at Escape Frenzy how much fun people have, how alive they feel trying to solve the escape game, and the great memories they have after an escape room. But hang on, because time will distort as you try to escape the room. You will check the clock and wonder where all the time went. But then, time flies when you’re having fun.
